We are growing and looking to add a CDL Driver to the team of experts in our Mechanicsville, VA location. This position requires a valid Class A or Class B with Air Brake endorsement – with the ability to drive a standard (manual) transmission.

Duties/Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience in driving various heavy trucks (+26001 GVW) with standard transmissions
- Knowledge in properly filling out Federal DOT logbooks, pre- and post-trip inspection forms
- Knowledge in general maintenance of large trucks and ability to properly perform regular maintenance checks, note minor/major repairs, and communicate defects to management in timely fashion
- Possess a clean MVR Driving Record
- Ability to drive in various adverse weather conditions
- Ability to learn general operations of truck-mounted knuckle boom loaders (attached to trucks) and to become proficient in loader operations
- Ability to travel out of town/state desired but not mandatory
- Ability to do physical activities in association with tree-related work functions (dragging brush, raking, flagging, etc)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
