Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, we do work with insurance companies directly. We can also address insurance issues through our partnership with HMI. Our Arborist Advisors can speak directly with your insurance company if necessary, but our administrative staff in the office typically do not.
We respond within 24 hours. Depending on the severity of the damage (see requirements below) we can usually be at your within an hour. Off hours will require up to 8 hours so we can call in crews and mobilize.
We look at the severity and potential for further damage or injury when prioritizing emergency tree services. For example, the following situations are usually rated as a priority for service:
- Trees or limbs that have fallen on houses, outdoor structures, or cars
- Trees on power lines
- Hazardous hangers (broken branches hanging in a tree) about to fall
In contrast, tree limbs that have already fallen and are laying on the ground would be considered a secondary priority.
We can only clean up and remove tree debris that results from storm damage. We cannot use our dump sites for damaged siding, fences, etc.
Yes, we can do roof tarping if necessary. We advise that you check with your insurance company first; there is an additional charge for this service that is usually not covered by insurance.
We do work directly with FEMA, but this is only on large municipal contracts. Unfortunately, we are not able to directly help individual homeowners or businesses.
