Frequently Asked Questions

An ISA Certified Arborist is a tree expert who has undergone vigorous training and education to have an expansive knowledge of caring for trees. They must have at least three years of experience in the industry and complete an exam to demonstrate their expertise.

When you get tree care from a Certified Arborist, you’re getting an expert who can make recommendations from a place of knowledge. Instead of chopping your tree down, they may offer suggestions to save it.

Arbor Masters’ Wichita branch is proud to employ ISA Certified Arborists to provide comprehensive tree care to our neighbors.

No, we need to see your trees before providing a quote, as we need an in-person look at the tree to get an idea of its size, location, condition, and any complicating factors that will affect the price of our services.

While we’d love to get to know you and discuss alternatives for your tree, we realize that life can get busy. We can do contact-free inspections as long as we know what trees to look at. We’ll send you the estimate electronically after we’re done.

We carry all proper insurance for tree care work, including liability coverage and workers’ compensation.

We take great care to minimize any potential damage to your property during our tree services. We use specialized techniques and equipment to avoid unnecessary disruption, such as tearing up your lawn.

Tree removal and pruning can involve lowering large sections of the tree onto the lawn, which may cause minor lawn damage, such as divots. We’ll repair any of these minor cosmetic problems with your lawn before we leave. For any major damage, we will revisit your property and do whatever we can to repair the damage.

We accept payment by check or credit card. For cards, you can pay online with our secure payment form, or you can call us to take care of it. Mail checks to our office or provide them to the crew.

Yes, we offer free unlimited wood chip deliveries to customers in our service area. We will drop off the wood chips whenever we are in your area for other tree work. We unfortunately can’t schedule special deliveries.

Many people only think about tree care in the summer months when trees have their leaves, but winter is actually one of the best times to perform tree work. Winter is perfect for large pruning projects or for removing trees.

We perform our services in the winter, though we may have to reschedule if snow or ice would make performing tree work dangerous.
