Frequently Asked Questions About Tree Care

A Certified Arborist is a professional who has undergone rigorous training and testing to demonstrate their expertise in tree care. They possess in-depth knowledge of tree biology, health, and safety. At Arbor Masters, our team of Certified Arborists is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for your trees.

Scheduling a consultation with one of our arborists is simple. You can contact us directly at 913-441-8888 or submit a request through our website. We'll work with you to schedule a convenient time for a consultation.

During the initial consultation, our arborist will conduct a thorough inspection of your trees. They will assess the health, condition, and any potential hazards. Based on their findings, they will provide you with a personalized assessment and recommendations for tree care.

While it's not always necessary to be present during the consultation, we encourage it. This allows you to ask questions, discuss your concerns, and gain a better understanding of the recommended services. For tree services, your presence is generally not required, but we will notify you of the estimated timeline and any specific instructions.

Yes, we hold all necessary licenses and are fully insured for tree work.

To ensure a smooth and efficient tree service, we recommend the following preparations:

  • Clear the Area: Remove any objects, such as toys, lawn furniture, or vehicles, from the area where the work will be performed.
  • Mark Utilities: If you have underground utilities in the vicinity, please mark them clearly.
  • Keep Pets Secured: Secure your pets indoors during the service to prevent any accidents.

Regular tree inspections are important to maintain the health and safety of your trees. We recommend annual inspections for most trees, but the frequency may vary depending on factors such as the tree's species, age, and location.

Tree removal and stump grinding are typically scheduled on separate days. Tree removal is a time-consuming process that requires a specialized crew and equipment, which is different than the crew and equipment for stump grinding. To ensure both services are completed efficiently, we separate them. This allows us to allocate the proper time, equipment, and resources for each task.
