Our Fort Worth Tree Support Systems
Tree support systems can help stabilize trees and reinforce weakened areas, reducing the risk of breakage during storms or high winds. These systems are particularly beneficial for trees that have been improperly pruned or damaged by storms.

Why Trust Arbor Masters with Your Tree’s Cabling and Bracing
Cabling and bracing are tree services that require a delicate touch, something that far too many tree care companies lack. When you work with Arbor Masters, you’ll notice the care we put into tree work. Some of the aspects that set us apart from the competition include:
Certified and Accredited Tree Care Professionals
The Arbor Masters Process
Despite its importance, structural support is not one of the more well-known parts of tree care. We don’t want you to feel confused by the process, so we’ve laid it out step-by-step here so you know what to expect when you hire Arbor Masters.
Initial Consultation
Our arborists will examine your tree and provide you with an honest opinion on whether cabling and bracing can help or if a portion of a tree may be too far gone.
Provide a Quote
We will provide you with a comprehensive quote for tree work with no hidden fees. Once you accept the quote, we’ll begin work on developing a plan.
Finalize the Plan
We’ll work with you to schedule the work and develop a plan for what we’ll need to do to prop up the weak sections of your tree.
Prune Out Weak Branches
Before we install the cables and braces, we may suggest pruning out the weakest branches on your tree that we can’t save.
Provide Structural Support
We’ll install any cables and braces your tree may need. We always follow the ANSI A300 standards for equipment and techniques.
When Trees Need Cabling and Bracing
Our expert team can provide a thorough assessment to determine if your tree needs cabling and bracing. However, here are some common situations where these support systems may be beneficial:
Don’t Forget to Have Your Structural Support Checked
While cabling and bracing are an excellent way to strengthen your trees and make them safer during a storm, they are not permanent solutions. Trees will continue to grow while you have structural supports installed, and the cables may not be as capable of supporting the new growth in the next year. Additionally, cables and braces will naturally wear down over time.
We recommend having an arborist inspect your structural support each year to determine if it may need to be replaced.
Preparing for Your Cabling and Bracing Appointment
While the expert team at Arbor Masters will take care of the installation, there are a few things you can do to help us before we arrive, such as:
Remove Obstructions: If you have any lawn decorations or furniture near the tree, please remove them so we don’t accidentally damage or trip over them.
Keep Pets Inside: We love pets, but they can often be edgy with all the noise that happens during tree care. Please leave your pets inside while we work to keep them safe.
Inform Your Neighbors: Let your neighbors know we’ll be in the neighborhood so they aren’t surprised to see us.

Cabling and Bracing FAQs
When a tree is fully leafed out, you likely won’t even be able to see the cables or braces.
Saving a tree is always preferable to removal, as it will save you money and allow you to enjoy the benefits of trees for years to come.
Cabling may be able to save a weakened tree, but not all of them. During an initial consultation, our arborists can determine if there is a chance to save your tree, or if removal is the best option.
While structural support will make your tree safer, it cannot make it impervious to damage. Use caution around trees during storms or high-wind weather.
